Participatory methods

PEICAS research project involves participatory methods. It is important for us that the research we carry out is respectful of and meaningful for people with autism. We value autism-friendly research practices, such as ensuring as pleasant and easy participation as possible. We also aim at accessible reporting and publishing of our research findings. By involving adults and children with autism and parents of children with autism in designing and carrying out the project, we hope to improve the way research is conducted by us and others.
